Stuart Row Landscapes was founded in 1995 with a simple conviction: outdoor spaces deserve the same design attention as the homes they surround. What started as one designer with a truck and a sketchbook has grown into a boutique landscape firm with three East Tennessee locations and a team of horticulturists and skilled craftspeople.
But growth was never the goal. Quality was. Stuart Row Landscapes has stayed deliberately small so that Stuart can personally oversee every project — from the initial design conversation through the last stone placed. This isn't a company that hands you off to a project manager. The person who designs your landscape is the person who builds it.
Over three decades, we've designed and installed hundreds of landscapes across Knoxville, Farragut, West Knoxville, Lenoir City, Kingston, and communities throughout Knox, Blount, Loudon, and Roane counties. Each project reflects the same approach: listen first, design with intention, build with craft, and create outdoor spaces that feel like they've always belonged.

We start with your land and your life, not a catalog of packages. Every project is designed from scratch for its specific site, client, and conditions. No templates, no upselling, no filler.

We design for how a landscape will look in five years, not just on install day. Plants are chosen for mature size and seasonal interest. Stone is laid on proper bases. Drainage is planned, not patched. The work is meant to last.
